I've heard before that most brides don't get to enjoy the food at their wedding--either because of nerves or simply because they spend the whole reception talking to people! Well, this is true of my wedding too. I was definitely bummed out that I didn't get to taste all the wonderful treats made for my dessert reception by friends. But the other thing I missed was viewing the slideshow put together by my cousin Taara. Thankfully, the slideshow was preserved better than the cookies and so tonight was the first time Chris and I got to see it. It was worth the wait!
