Goethe Haus

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is pretty much the hero of Frankfurt. He was a great German thinker and writer during the Enlightenment and so the Frankfurters are very proud that he hailed from their city. The university where we are studying is called Goethe Universität. Last week I got to go on a field-trip to his house with my German class. For more info about the house (Autumn :-)) you can go here.
Me and Goethe.

This is my German teacher: Tabea telling us about the Goethe living room.
The house was more than 4 stories tall with many different rooms so it was fun to explore. We ended the day by having lunch with our class which was a nice way to spend the day instead of being stuck in a classroom for 4 hours!!
Goethe and I are BFFs now!
