Knitting Bows

Last week I was in Nordstrom with Paige and we saw some adorable knitted gloves with bows on them. It became my inspiration for my knitting this week.

I don't know if I need to sell the idea of fingerless gloves to you, but I am a HUGE fan!! As a seasoned nanny and recess teacher, these babies sure make quality of life better and much easier when braving the outdoors. Many a shoe lace has been tied while my hands were still cozy and warm while wearing gloves of this sort.

I also have both knitted and crocheted gloves before and since I hadn't found a pattern I loved yet, I decided to make up my own. I modeled it somewhat after this pattern which I found on ravelry.

Once they were knitted up, I added bows!

And ended up with this result:
