Chris' work trip perfectly coincided with the weekend Ben was graduating from college. This made for another good reason for me to plan the trip down here with him and so over the weekend, we made a whirlwind trip up from San Diego to Pasadena to be a part of Ben's commencement activities. He has worked hard to accomplish this goal and we were so proud of him. He even surprised us all by being elected the student speaker for his class at the graduation--something he kept a secret from us until he was up there speaking. And of course he did a wonderful job! The other perk of the weekend was spending time with the Harrs and my mom and especially kissing the sweet cheeks of my Cali nephews! Our only regret was that the time was too short.
