Well, we did get a little bit--but it was rain by morning (that's the streakyness on the window) and definitely gone by afternoon. Somehow I feel like I was in a bubble of normal winter weather while all around me (even just a few miles away) there were crazy winter weather happenings going on. Like an inverted snow globe? Crazy flooding south of here, snow-->ice-->power outages-->wind north of here (I heard it referred to as Seattle's Snopocolypse or Snowmageddon). I guess I should be thankful for the safety and convenience of being able to go places and keeping our power, but I must confess that the snow-lover inside of me does feel a little jipped. So since I really have nothing to report on this, my question for you northwest followers is: how did your week turn out? Did you keep power? Did your kids just love the inches and inches of snow? Did you mail me a snowball?
