Hats for the Nieces

I actually spent quite a bit of time crocheting before Christmas this year and didn't blog about it because, well, they were gifts so the big reveal needed to wait until after Christmas. Well, not really for this one because I really doubt my nieces follow my blog, but at least that excuse sounded good. :-) My sister Ruth commissioned me to make a hat for each of her girls to put under their tree and this was the result:
