The week before Christmas (before all the family arrived, but after all the finals were done), I was asked to take a Christmas photo of the Darms family in its entirety. I wish I had a cool camera to make it all professional, but my handy dandy little camera did its job and captured their family Christmas cheer. I was entertained by their joy and frivolity as we figured out the best way to pose all 8 of them!
After the photoshoot, Autumn and I took Chile for a walk for Mike and Debbie who were still in the hospital with Gabrielle. Poor Chile was lonely for company and Autumn and I enjoyed the time walking and talking too. On the way home we drove by my favorite doughnut shop to see if it was open--and sadly it wasn't, so I made Caramel Popcorn instead. I burned the first batch, but we ate it anyway until the 2nd was ready and we realized how awful the 1st was!

Around midnight, Henry, Ben, Autumn, and I settled down to play a rousing game of Settlers of Catan. It was Henry's first time but he was successfully on the road to winning until Ben craftily came out in the lead and settled that island better than the rest of us! Way to go Ben!
Thank you again for taking the photos. I'm glad you were entertained.
ReplyDeleteBut! That's not a picture of our Catan game! That's cheating!
