Christmas Blessings

I've had some sweet friends come love me this week and it seems like they all came bearing Christmas gifts to make my home a little happier too!

 Harmony and I have been friends forever now and for the first time live in (almost) the same place! She came over and spent the day with me on Saturday and came bearing these lovely lillies and roses. It was great to spend a day catching up!

Aren't these lovely? They've opened up and have been so fragrant all week!

 Then Joel and Jill and Malakai came by with a tree for me since Chris isn't home to help me set one up. It was so sweet of them and they picked out the perfect little tree for me. I forgot to take a photo of them and Malakai is such cute subject matter too. :-( Thank you Macks!

 And then along came my little elf to help me decorate my tree. Talitha and I spent some time baking and decorating last night.

 Chris requested blue lights for our tree so I made sure to put those on along with a silver/white theme of decorations leftover from my wedding.

We used these bells in our flower arrangements and they were also rung by our guests when we left. It was fun to have them to put up all over our tree now and I'm thinking they'll be a Sobel tree staple for years to come.

Yesterday Talitha and I made white chocolate covered oreos with peppermint on top. My sister Karen told me about the idea after she came across them on Pinterest. There's not really a recipe to leave because you pretty much make them how they sound, but they sure are yummy!
